AFSS Coordination

Seamless management of your Annual Fire Safety Statement from start to lodgement

Service Overview

Every strata scheme in NSW must meet fire safety compliance obligations under state legislation. This includes submitting an Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) to the local council. Other states and territories impose similar inspection, certification, and reporting requirements.

For many committees, the AFSS process can be overwhelming:

  • Coordinating multiple fire contractors
  • Chasing overdue inspection reports
  • Ensuring the Principal Certifier or Accredited Practitioner signs on time
  • Lodging correctly with the council before penalties apply

Mistakes or delays can result in fines, compliance orders, or invalid insurance cover.

Our AFSS Coordination service takes this burden off your committee. We manage the full process from contractor engagement to submission, ensuring your scheme’s fire safety obligations are met on time and without stress.

This service is perfect for:

  • Self-managed strata schemes that don’t have an appointed manager to coordinate fire safety
  • Committees struggling with overdue or missing AFSS lodgements
  • Schemes wanting peace of mind that compliance is handled by an experienced professional
  • Large or complex buildings where multiple fire systems and contractors must be coordinated
